Insignia 5MP High-Definition Digital Camcorder

For spring break 2010 I decided to purchase the Insignia 5MP HD Camcorder which is a Best Buy signature product. So far so good. Well, that is until I realized after the trip that it never recorded the sound. So I have 5 days for video with no sound. On top of that, we were recording in the car with one window down and the sound of the wind blew out the speaker somehow. So with no microphone and no speaker this thing was pretty worthless to me.

It has a cute design and is pretty handy, but it's not made for super close-ups or for recording loud sounds.

So my finial thoughts on this product would be to just buy this if you just need a simple camcorder for a short term project.

Newest Toy from Apple: Apple iPad

So the newest product out there is called the "iPad" made by Apple. It looks great, but looking at it again, it looks like a giant iPod touch. There is no camera, no keyboard; but it's east to type using the large standard size touch keys.

There are two different versions: One with Wi-Fi and one using a combination of WI-Fi and the 3G network from AT& T.
